My family—my mom, my sister, and her husband—live in the house where I grew up in our hometown. Right now, that home and the entire area are experiencing severe flooding. It’s heartbreaking to see the place that holds so many memories for us facing such a difficult situation, and I’m deeply worried about my family’s safety and well-being.
We’ve been through this before. In 2021, flooding forced my family out of their home, and the hotel expenses quickly added up, making an already stressful time even harder. This time, the need is even greater.
The funds raised here will go directly toward securing safe, temporary housing for my family in Bellingham, WA and necessities they will need while they deal with the flooding and work to get back on their feet.
