Returnships (www.returnships.info ) is an initiative to help caregivers go back to work after long haul in their career. It bridges the gap between stay at home caregivers who have sacrificed their career a long time ago and being a fully fledged successful industry professional who is ready to go to work.
While there are so many returnship opportunities alone, there is a lot of difference between thinking of going back to work and actually being ready.
Regular steps: You prepare for an interview, you create a resume, you look for opportunities, reach to people, land interviews and then go back to work.
Now this is applicable to people who are currently in the Industry, think of someone who quit a long time ago and are not up-to-date with latest skills, technologies that arrived recently. Now think about people who are probably in 40s-50s or 60s, their era wasnt technology heavy. Finding opportunities is overwhelming to them. Thus they cannot make use of the opportunities available. Just imagine of people who donot know how to internet or use computer science at the back of their hand. Imagine the amount of work they will have to do, when they want to work todays jobs. Now combine this, with people who were in abusive marriages or in traumatic life experiences and just got out of it and want to restart their life and they have no experience. Where do they go with not such experience in current world?
Getting back to work is already a complicated process with a series of steps. All these factors makes it hard for good talent to find the right opportunities. Todays moms, who built your homes with love and care have excellent organization skills. We channelize all these factors together, comes our initiative returnships.info.
We have created an introductory course that will hand held someone through the process of returning to work by being an one-stop-shop for everything they need to know about returning to work.
We start from basics like -
1. Discovering Yourself
2. Hearing of stories who have successfully returned to work
3. Receiving trainings from something as rudimentary as learning computer science and English to something as extensive as finding the right careers and training.
4. Being connected to right mentors and coaches
5. Building an online presence and resume. Includes resume review.
6. The last stage is right returnship opportunities based on their profile.
Now our goal is to make this entire process free, so people feel comfortable starting the process of beginning to go back to work, irrespective of their financial situation and eventually we can gain financial freedom.

You are donating towards making this effort successful and scalable. Your money would be used towards this initiative, the infrastructure and online costs of the site, creating course curriculum for returnships and other logistics to make this dream a reality.
