Hi, my name is David and I'm travelling from The Western end of Hadrians Wall across along to Newcastle, but the journey at Wallsend, is just starting. From there I'll travel to Rome.

This journey will take in 10 countries, in 30 days, climbing the highest mountains in several countries, in a never been done before challenge. That's approx 1800 miles at 60 miles per day and having just turned 60 - it is the biggest undertaking I've ever attempted.

Previous challenges include, a solo trans crossing of Iceland, LeGog, Coast to Coast in several countries and many 4000M peaks in The Alps.

The funds then will be used to support several registered charities - as GofundMe doesn't allow this "splitting" on their platform. these will include food banks and wellness programs as well as highlighting and spotlighting these issues through raising awareness.

The biggest singular beneficiary of this project will be “RETURN TO..." which is a community initiative documenting and supporting people’s journey from "homelessness to hope".

Donations will support fellow humans labelled as "homeless" with basic needs, workshops, and storytelling projects. Our Community Interest Company is currently being registered, and your support will make an immediate impact.”
