Retired Deputy Sheriff Jeff May in need of help

Hi, my name is Mike Kennedy and I am setting up this go fund me post for Jeff May. I have known Jeff for over 20 years. My mother, Kathy does her best to take care of him as he has many serious health issues. He is a retired Waukesha County Deputy Sheriff. Jeff is an amputee so he is not mobile. He is in complete kidney failure and needs a kidney transplant. He is a diabetic and also has a bad heart. Jeff goes to dialysis 3 times a week and has many other medical appointments. With Kathy's assistance Jeff was able to get to his appointments. He was able to go out the front door of their condo using just a walker to go a short distance to the street and get into their van. This is no longer possible as the city of Waukesha is doing road construction around their entire block. The city police will not allow Kathy to load him into the van as they say it blocks traffic. Jeff is literally trapped inside their condo. They have called many places for assistance but haven't come up with a solution as they cannot load Jeff into a vehicle with the road construction. Kathy has health problems too. Kathy has copd. She also has an auto immune disease and bad arthritis in her knee and leg bones. She is not able to push him to dialysis although it is just 2 blocks away. Jeff thinks he could get to dialysis in an electric wheelchair or an electric scooter. These are very expensive. He is going to attempt to rent one until he can come up with enough money to buy one. Any contributions are welcome. He is probably going to need to raise about $2,000. Prayers are also welcome.
