When we started Fresh Start Home Project - Knoxville, we realized there are many homeowners in our community who are facing overwhelming challenges and simply don't have the resources, support system, or ability to make needed repairs and improvements to their homes. We believe that when a community comes together, we can do far more than improve a house—we can change a life. That belief inspired the creation of Fresh Start Home Project - Knoxville, an annual initiative dedicated to restoring homes and renewing hope for deserving local families.

Our first project will help a longtime local public school teacher and her children who were left in a very difficult situation after years of hardship. Through the support of volunteers, contractors, local businesses, and community partners, we are working to transform their home by replacing worn flooring, installing new windows, completing repairs, painting, landscaping, and addressing other critical needs. Every dollar raised will go directly toward project materials, home improvements, volunteer support, and creating a safe, refreshed environment for this family.

This is about more than construction. It is about restoring dignity, creating hope, and showing families that their community cares about them. Our vision is to complete one major home transformation project each year for a deserving family in East Tennessee.
