Restore Swampscott's Rainbow Crosswalks
0% complete
$420 raised of

This fundraiser is for the Town of Swampscott after its rainbow crosswalks were painted over with black and white paint because there was not enough money to afford the rainbow colors.
The rainbow crosswalks were loved by people in town, and they meant something especially important to LGBTQ+ community members. Those crosswalks helped people feel that the town supported them and welcomed them. Now that they have been covered over, many people are feeling that support has been taken away.
Donations will go toward different paint colors for the town's crosswalks so the rainbow crosswalks can be restored as soon as possible. If enough money is raised, the town may also be able to paint new and additional crosswalks in rainbow colors. This is an urgent need, and every contribution will help move the town closer to bringing back something that mattered to so many people.
Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to help restore the rainbow crosswalks and show support for the LGBTQ+ community in town.
