The former Cloverdale Middle School — once a space of promise and pride — is now at risk of being sold to a charter institution with little to no roots in our community. While education is critical, we know our youth need more than just school buildings. They need care. They need healing. They need us.

That’s why we’re launching Restore the Rock, a grassroots campaign to reclaim the Cloverdale property and transform it into something bold and necessary:

A Social Hospital — Not a School

Not a medical facility. A safe haven. A space for healing, mentorship, creative growth, wellness, job readiness, and community-powered change. A place built with the people, for the people.

Led by The H.O.M.E. Teen Youth Center and a coalition of youth advocates, artists, teachers, healers, and faith and business leaders, this project is rooted in lived experience — and fueled by faith, resilience, and community will.

We’re not asking for millions. We’re starting small — and building big.
