Restore the Platte Clove Neighborhood Center

Tax deductible

Platte Clove sits in a high valley at the source of two pristine watersheds that bring water to the residents of NYC. As stewards of the Cloves in the Catskills we are fortunate to have an historical building that has brought people together for over 120 years. Built by local craftspeople it has become an architectural gem within Platte Clove on the Mountain Top.

The Platte Clove Neighborhood Center (formerly a church building) is where lifelong friendships were forged, families were formed, and lasting community memories continue to be created.

Our Center is not in great shape and it now needs your help to fund repairs to preserve the structure of this unique meeting place of the PCNC. The rear annex, the roof, the foundation and the boiler all need repair and the exterior of the building needs a coat of paint.

Our educational and social programs (which recently have been conducted off-site) will return to the Center as soon as we make some basic repairs.

Yoga

Mushroom Foraging

Sound Bath

Medicine Making

Please invest in the Center’s future with a gift of whatever you can afford. Volunteers will continue to make your donations go far. A gift of $100 or $500 or $1000 will soon make noticeable improvements. All donations are tax-deductible!!!!
