Help Restore the Alread Community Center Gym!
The Alread Community Center Development Association (ACCDA) is working to restore our community gym, but we need your help!
Since the Alread High School closed in 2005 and the elementary school in 2006, these buildings have been abandoned and neglected for nearly 20 years. Thanks to generous past donors, we’ve already repaired the floors and upgraded the lighting, but to fully reopen the gym, we must complete essential repairs.
We are raising $27,000 to fund critical renovations, including:
✅ Fixing the leaking roof
✅ Restoring bathrooms and plumbing
✅ Deep cleaning and painting
✅ Replacing all toilets and ceiling tiles
✅ Upgrading entryway lighting
✅ Repairing the heating system
✅ Removing and replacing warped paneling in the entry
✅ Fixing doors and upgrading locks
Why Alread Community Center Gym Matters
Restoring this gym means creating a space where our community can come together again. Once repairs are completed, the gym will provide:
- An open gym for basketball, volleyball, and other sports
- A safe place for kids, teens, and adults to exercise and stay active
- A venue for community events, gatherings, and celebrations
- A positive environment for local youth to socialize and build friendships
- A revitalized community hub that brings new life to Alread
Your support will help us transform this abandoned space into a thriving center for health, wellness, and community connection.
Every donation, big or small wheather its's $5, $25 or $50 it will bring us closer to reopening the Alread Community Gym! Please contribute and share our fundraiser to help us reach our $27,000 goal.
Please donate today and help our community of bringing this gym back to life!
