Recently, our Red Bank Borough Hall experienced an act of vandalism that left several windows shattered. While the damage to the building is unfortunate, something even more meaningful to our community was lost in the process—a cherished collection of solar bobbleheads that brought joy to so many who passed by.
These bobbleheads weren’t just decorations. They were a small but special part of Borough Hall that made people smile—residents, visitors, and especially children who loved stopping to watch them dance in the sunlight. Over time, they became a lighthearted symbol of our community’s spirit.
We’re coming together to restore that joy.
Our goal is to purchase 100 new solar bobbleheads to bring back this beloved display and make it even bigger and better than before. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us rebuild something that meant a lot to our town.
Even better—any funds raised beyond the cost of the bobbleheads will be donated to Lunch Break, a local charity that supports those in need right here in our community.
This is about more than replacing what was lost. It’s about showing that Red Bank stands strong, supports one another, and finds ways to bring joy even after setbacks.
If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing this campaign. Let’s come together and restore a little happiness—one bobblehead at a time.
Thank you for your support
UPDATE -
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a quick update and thank you all for the incredible support so far—it truly means a lot to see our community come together like this.
After taking a closer look, the number of damaged bobbleheads is thankfully lower than we initially thought. While the original goal was to replace 100, we now only replace about 50.
We’ll be adjusting our efforts to reflect this updated need. Any funds raised beyond the cost of replacing the 50 bobbleheads will still go toward Lunch Break, as originally planned, to continue supporting our local community.
Thank you again for your generosity and for stepping up so quickly—this is exactly what makes our community so special.
