My Name is Kelsey, and in November of 2018, my late Husband took his own life. He became one of the 22 veterans who take their life daily. I built a whole company around Bringing Hope to the hard places because of Him. I found a building and town that also needs Restoration—the kind only God can give.

I won't claim to know all about history. But let me tell you about this building & if you can't help, at least you can pray!

There is no doubt in my mind that God is present in this building. It has a rock foundation dating back to 1910 but can be dated back to 1890.

To my knowledge, this building is the oldest standing building in Pilot Mountain. It's located on the ONLY block that major fires in Polit Mountain haven't touched. The history and memories this building holds is amazing. It's the oldest building standing, and they want to tear it down.

Not too long ago, this building was deemed unsafe, and the owners were forced to sell it and uplift their life to a new location. But I want to bring the community together to save it! Too many people have turned their heads, not caring about the history. This building survived 3 Major fires, yet those are hardly talked about! My question is: Why?

There is a reason this building is still standing & we want to bring the history to life through it.

They see it as unsavable, but I want to bring God into this town with this building.

I want to show everyone that God's glory still exists. We serve a living God! There is a reason this block is the only block never touched by fire! This town needs some light and Hope. It needs its life back. It needs an uproar that only God can give. So no one can deny that HE is alive and His people were involved!

I want to restore this building that everyone has deemed unfixable.

I want to open a store that Pilot Mountain has never had.

I want to open a Bible Study Center and Store all our Purpose of Hope items, bibles, study materials, prayer cloths, and more. I want to restore this building to a place people can come to for Hope. A place where Hope can be found in Jesus. A place of Restoration but not the kind we can do on our own, but the kind that takes God getting involved.

I won't be able to make this happen without the support of our community. No bank will give you a loan for this building because of the foundation. Together, as a community, we can restore this building to beauty, and Retore History. Every dime donated to this building will be put into fixing the foundation and the problems so it can be brought back to life, a memorial painted, and life brought back to this street.

We will also be doing fundraisers to save this building. God will call his people, and we will restore a piece of Pilot Mountains History & bring Hope to this town. No More turning our heads but instead standing for what we believe in. This building isn't too far gone; it just needs the love and care of a community that cares about its history.

And most importantly, when it's done, there will be no denying that God is involved in this building and town. Everyone's name who helps make it happen will be placed on a wall, and the wall be known as God's people who made it happen.
