My name is Sam Marshall and I am currently working on my Eagle Scout project. I have been in scouting for nearly 10 years and this is my final step in the scouting journey.

For my project I chose to partner with Restore Addiction Recovery. https://restoreaddictionrecovery.com/ Restore began with the intention to help and fight the growing opioid epidemic that is being faced in the US and especially Ohio being ranked at #2 in the country for OD's. What makes Restore such a great place is that they are only 1 of 4 centers in Ohio that provides treatment for residents all the way from post-detox through back to life in a 12+ month recovery program that is Christ oriented and centered.

The vision for my project came from a tour of the facility where I saw a pile of logs in the middle of a gravel lot where residents would pull up chairs and sit around for hours at a time and I thought that it could be turned into a phenomenal space for living! My original budget was roughly $3,800 dollars, but was fortunate to have the company Pavestone provide a generous donation of over $2,200 dollars in pavers and supplies. To get this project going, we still need to raise an additional $1,600 dollars with your help to create a place of fellowship and outdoor fun to Restore.
