Restore Norse Hall's Dance Floors
Donation protected
You need a haircut; the tires on the car are going bald; the house needs painting. Life requires ongoing maintenance. Your dance shoes are wearing out…and so is your dance floor.
Norse Hall wants to do a full refinish of both dance floors this August—if we can get a little help from our friends. $22,500 is what it’s going to cost to bring your dance floor back to the best floor in town. We’re hoping for your participation in getting this done.
How much should you contribute? Certainly, only what you can afford and want to give. Here are a few ways you might look at it:
- $10 for every year that you have danced at Norse Hall
- $1 for each time in the last few years that you danced at Norse Hall
- $20 for each pair of dance shoes you own
- The price of a new pair of dance shoes (The new finish will make your old shoes feel new again.)
However it fits in your outlook, know that you will be getting a spiffy new floor to dance on for years to come.
Norse Hall is still in the rebound process from the dark times. Thank you for being a part of the community that loves and uses Norse Hall.
(GoFundMe requires us to show a person, Darrel King, as the beneficiary. He is the Treasurer of Norse Hall Association and the donations will go directly to the Norse Hall bank account.)
(The Norse Hall Association is a non-profit corporation whose charter is to maintain the building. IT IS NOT QUALIFIED TO RECEIVE DEDUCTIBLE CONTRIBUTIONS. Your donation will be a gift. It will not be deductible on your tax return.)
Your dance floor thanks you.
