Restore Norse Hall's Dance Floors
Donation protected
WE DID IT! YOU did it. Our great community of dancers who love Norse Hall successfully donated the amount necessary to fully refinish both dance floors. YAY!! The refinishing will start this coming Monday morning (August 4).
Thank you all for being such generous people and good citizens of the society of Norse Hall dancers. The Title papers say that Norse Hall is owned by the Norse Hall Association. But, by your deeds, you have shown that you also feel some ownership of the hall—and care for its future. We agree.
We look forward to continuing to dance with you…if not in each other’s arms, at least in each other’s dance hall.
Our goal for now is met. Any further contributions will be used for future upkeep of our dance floors.
(The Norse Hall Association is a non-profit corporation whose charter is to maintain the building. Donations to this campaign are a gift, but are not tax deductible as charitable contributions.)
(GoFundMe requires us to show a person, Darrel King, as the beneficiary. He is the Treasurer of Norse Hall Association so the donations will go directly into the Norse Hall bank account.)
