On February 8th, my father’s workshop (Kevin Guinee at Designer Kitchens & Woodworking) was completely destroyed in a devastating fire. This workshop was not just a place where he worked—it was his livelihood for the past 30 years. It contained all of his tools and materials, which were essential for his work and his only source of income. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have fire insurance, and everything he’s worked so hard to build is now gone.
For as long as I can remember, my dad has poured his heart and soul into his work. He’s not only a hardworking man but has spent years helping others in the community—whether it’s lending tools to those in need, offering advice, or volunteering his time to help people with their projects. Now, after all he has given, he’s facing a major setback, and we’re hoping the community can now return some of that kindness.
This fire has taken everything from him—his tools, his materials, and his ability to provide for himself. We’re asking for your support to help him get back on his feet. Any donation, big or small, will help us replace the tools and materials he needs to start over and begin rebuilding his life. Your generosity would mean the world to our family during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and for keeping my dad in your thoughts.
