Restore Michael's Work Truck & Equipment

I'm Amanda, Michael's daughter. Recently, my dad's entire work truck was stolen along with all of his tools and welder; in other words, his livelihood. Unfortunately, his equipment, generators, industrial welder, and tools were not insured. The work truck was completely destroyed as well. It was recovered by the police, completely stripped and destroyed, resulting in a total loss. My dad, Michael, is one of the hardest working people I've ever known. During the off-season from commercial fishing, he does weld work and fabrication. Anybody who knows him knows he is somebody who will go out of his way to help at the drop of a dime. He is the sole provider for the household, and this completely blindsided him and has put a major strain on my family's financial stability. He's also not the type of person to ask for help. I'm not either, but I couldn't think of another way to raise money to compensate for his loss. I figured that it couldn't hurt to try a GoFundMe. The total loss of his equipment was around $20,000.

Unfortunately, I am in no position to cover the loss of his whole collection of tools, his truck, and his welder. That brings me to this GoFundMe. I'm hoping I can get a little something together for him to at least cover the cost of his welder to get him back in action until fishing picks up again.
