Hello, my name is Robert Blanchard. About 17 months ago, my mother, Lisa Eberhardt, was rear-ended by a Southern Air employee who was under the influence or had fallen asleep behind the wheel. She was only 35 minutes away from completing her two-hour drive to stay with my wife and me, to visit her newest grandchild. She was going to stay with us for two weeks to help my wife with whatever she might need while I started back to work. Needless to say, this ended up not happening.

Since the accident, my mother has incurred over ten thousand dollars in medical bills. She has been suffering from back pain, neck pain, migraines, and some memory loss. She lost her job because her ability to perform suffered, and she has not been able to hold a job since. This accident and constant doctor appointments have interfered with her ability to spend time with her family and live her life the way she used to. Anyone who knows my mother and me knows we are a proud duo and do not enjoy asking for help. We have exhausted all options at this point. I am doing this behind her back, but I don't know what to do anymore and am tired of seeing my mother, who used to be a bright rainbow in the sky, slowly lose her colors.
