Restore Joy: Soccer Gear for Fire-Affected Kids
Donation protected
Hi, we’re Max and Finn - Co-Founders of Leveled Play, Juniors at Palisades Charter High School, teammates on our school soccer team and longtime club players.
In January, the LA fires changed everything. We lost our school, Max’s house, and a huge source of joy and connection: our school soccer field. Afterward, we were all spread out, and it was hard to find a place—or the people—to just kick a ball around.
That’s when it hit us: the simple joy of a soccer ball means the world to us. It helped us cope, stay connected, and feel a bit more like ourselves again.
And we realized - every kid deserves that feeling.
Leveled Play is raising funds to purchase and distribute soccer balls to children in underserved communities and those affected by the California wildfires. We believe in the power of play - not just for fun, but for confidence and connection.
Our goal is to get soccer balls into kids’ hands before summer so they can get outside, play, and just be kids. We’ll be buying and hand-delivering the balls ourselves by the end of June.
With your help, we can bring that joy to so many more kids.
Anything you can give is greatly appreciated. Thank you for supporting us—and supporting play.
