me llamo Susan y estoy recaudando fondos para restaurar con cariño una capilla abandonada del siglo XVIII y devolverle su antigua gloria.

Esta hermosa capilla forma parte de un sueño mayor: devolver la vida a Mouronte, (provincia de Lugo) un Pazo Gallego en ruinas, y transformarlo en un acogedor centro de retiro. Nuestra visión es que la capilla vuelva a acoger bodas, comuniones, oraciones, meditaciones y momentos de alegría, amor y reflexión.

Tras décadas oculta entre zarzas y abandonada, la capilla necesita cuidados urgentes: un techo nuevo, suelos restaurados, muros reforzados y atención delicada para sus santos y su altar originales, que aún se conservan en su interior y esperan pacientemente volver a brillar.

my name is Susan, and I’m raising funds to lovingly restore an abandoned 18th-century chapel in the province of Lugo to its former glory.

This beautiful chapel is part of a larger dream—to breathe life back into Mouronte, a once-grand Galician Pazo now in ruins, and transform it into a welcoming retreat centre. Our vision is for the chapel to once again host weddings, communions, prayer, meditation, and moments of joy, love, and reflection.

After decades hidden under brambles and neglect, the chapel now needs urgent care—a new roof, a restored floor, strengthened walls, and gentle attention for its original saints and altar, which still stand inside, quietly waiting to shine again.
