Free Food Harlem restores both human dignity and environmental vitality though nourishing and delicious meals for those in need, served in an elegant restaurant setting.
We serve 400 three-course sit down meals a week and run a fresh fruit and vegetable pantry program, ensuring that the most food-insecure members of our community have access to healthy food, as well as a sense of community and dignity. We simultaneously rescue over 60,000 lbs of food a year that otherwise would go to landfill, and circulate it back into the community.

The essential nutrients in providing these meals is love and dignity, strengthening human connection and alleviating the sense of social isolation often faced by people on the streets.

Help us keep our program going strong so we can continue our program in Harlem. Your contribution goes directly to ensuring that no food or person is left behind, allowing us not only to serve meals but provide consistency, community and collaboration in our greatest time of need.
More information about our nonprofit, Unconditional Freedom: We restore dignity to the cancelled members of society: the marginalized, the cast out, the prison residents and the wild ones. Our programs provide the reflection, nourishment and tools necessary to restore human dignity. Once reclaimed, we believe people naturally find the desire to contribute their unique gifts to society.
