Restore Hope to the Beamon Family

Hello, my name is Spencer. Most people that know me know that I have been working towards owning my own car lot for quite some time. A little over 4 years ago, my wife and I were able to open our small dealership, D&S Auto Source. Growing our business through COVID and keeping it going has had its share of challenges, but nothing could have prepared us for what happened last Monday.

About a week ago, my wife and I were greeted at work with the devastating realization that our business had been broken into and 7 cars, along with a great deal of other personal items, were stolen.

The common misconception is that insurance will cover you in an event such as this. Unfortunately, that is not the case at all. We are being hung out to dry and it has caused irreparable damage to us financially. We are doing our best to get more cars ready and keep our business going, but the weight of this keeps getting heavier and heavier.

They are not willing to make us whole on the vehicles that remain missing, nor are they offering any help on the devaluation of the cars that are returned due to them being "theft recovered," which is hurting us a great deal now and will cause us a great financial burden later.

We are unsure of what the future looks like. We are trying to remain positive and push through, but even that can be difficult at times. We hate to even ask, but we're in desperate need of support. We are people just trying to make a living like anyone else.
