Help Restore My Family Home & Shop in Bluefields, Westmoreland, Jamaica

My name is Rena Rose, and I’m asking for your help to rebuild a piece of history and love. My grandmother’s home and shop in Bluefields ,Westmoreland, Jamaica were destroyed by Hurricane Melissa — the same home where generations of care, kindness, love sprouted and nurtured.

This wasn’t just a house — it was a central pillar of the community. My great-grandmother was the district midwife, delivered hundreds of babies right inside our home and fed anyone who came to her door. Her little shop brought people together, and from that same spirit of love and food, 876 NyamMinz was born.

Now, after the hurricane’s devastation, we’re raising funds to rebuild our home and shop, in order preserve build on her legacy of compassion and strength.
