Title: Help A single Mother Rebuild After Hurricane Beryl

Dear Friends and Kind Strangers,

My name is Kendesia, and I am a single parent to two wonderful girls, ages [2 and 11 yrs old]. We are reaching out for help during one of the most challenging times in our lives.

Recently, we were devastated by Hurricane Beryl, which destroyed everything we had. While we are grateful to have survived, we lost our home and all our belongings. Currently, we find ourselves without a stable place to live, sleeping in our car, which is also facing repossession. We desperately need a roof over our heads to provide my daughters with a sense of safety and security.

While we are thankful to be alive, we lost everything in the storm—our home, our belongings, and our sense of security. We are currently living in our car, which is on the verge of repossession. I’ve exhausted many options to find assistance in our community, but help is not easy to come by, especially for those of us from damaged and unhealed backgrounds. Unfortunately, this has left us feeling isolated and without support.

Despite my efforts, we have been unable to receive assistance from FEMA, leaving us feeling lost and helpless. I was able to find another remote job. however because of the hiring process i don't start until Dec 2nd!

Throughout all of this, I continue to pray for strength and guidance. I know that with faith, anything is possible, and I believe that brighter days are ahead for my family. However, we desperately need help to secure stable housing and get back on our feet.
