Dear friends, coworkers, and kind-hearted supporters,

We’re reaching out on behalf of our friend and colleagues, Gerald and Trina Nails, who recently suffered a heartbreaking and life-altering event. Due to a sudden electrical malfunction, their home was tragically destroyed in a house fire. In the blink of an eye, Gerald and Trina lost not only their house, but also their vehicle, belongings, and sense of normalcy.

By a miracle, they were able to escape safely. While we are all grateful that no one was physically harmed, the emotional and financial toll is immense.

As you can imagine, starting over from scratch is overwhelming—especially when it happens so unexpectedly. Gerald and Trina are now faced with the enormous challenge of securing housing, transportation, clothing, and essential items, all while continuing to show up to work and rebuild day by day.
