Restore Hope for Cirara's Family Post-Hurricane

Hello everyone, my name is Cirara. I’ve never made one of these before, let alone ever had to. My family and I live here in Tampa Bay, and as a lot of you know, we just experienced Hurricane Milton. Unfortunately for me, we didn’t get so lucky, as well as a lot of other people here in the Bay Area! The money will be used to get a new apartment and replace the clothes and shoes we lost.

We’re a family of 4 and lost everything due to our apartment that flooded. Our complex isn’t willing to place us in temporary housing or give us back our rent or security deposit! As gut-wrenching as this is, I’m asking for help from my community!

I have a 12-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son who never experienced anything like this, and they’re devastated! I don’t know what to say but “we’ll be ok.” When though is the question.
