Restore Hope: Aid East Tennessee Flood Victims

I am local here in East Tennessee and I have lived here my whole life and on 9/27 our town and surrounding areas faced the aftermath of hurricane Helene that no one was expecting or prepared for. Our area was expecting heavy rain and wind which turned into catastrophic flooding. Homes, business, churches all left destroyed. Families fleeing their homes in neck deep rushing water. Whole communities are destroyed. Local high schools are unrecognizable. Families were trapped in their homes waiting in their attics for help to come. People stuck with no access in or out due to whole roads being washed away. This devastation is nothing like I have ever seen and so many are now with nothing except the clothes on their back. A lot of our community consists of elderly who live on a fixed income. I am hoping to raise $ to go directly to families to assist in basic needs and hopefully more. No donation is too small. Together we can make a difference for our community. All money raised will go to families directly impacted by the flood in Elizabethton, Erwin, Hampton, and the surrounding communities. Please help us begin to rebuild East Tennessee.
