Hi, my name is Donna and I'm a mama and nana fundraising for my daughter Jacki and granddaughter Mackenzie, to help them get a fresh, safe start in a new home. Imagine having to take your child and run for your life! My girls are currently living in a Domestic Violence Shelter several states away. In addition, Jacki is trying hard to find free or inexpensive safe activities for Kenzie to do to help counteract the trauma she's experienced. She's only six (6) years old and is terrified. While their immediate needs are being met at the shelter, it is only a temporary solution to a long-term need. It's going to require a moving truck, fuel, finding an affordable place to live, rent and deposits, utilities... in other words... a lot!

Imagine if this were your daughter... granddaughter... Now imagine having limited financial resources to help them. Due to a health condition, I am retired and live on a fixed income. Our extended family provides support in whatever way they can, yet the need far exceeds our combined efforts. The need is great and urgent!
