Gainesboro Tennessee dream of restoring our old Seth Thomas clocktower and the clock itself. The clock was purchased in 1927 and at some point has fallen into disrepair. It is a beautiful piece of American clock workmanship in a beautiful little town on a hill. Gainesboro has been called "The Switzerland of the Upper Cumberland". The intent of this fundraise is to repair the clock itself and the clocktower that it is in, so hopefully 100+ tears from now this FINE piece of American Craftsmanship bell will still sound at noon. If by chance this work came to a lesser amount the remainder of the money would go towards maintaining until that is exhausted.
