Habitat does have insurance on the building but there are many bills that may not be covered. The Box truck used for pickups is a complete loss. All the inventory in the destroyed warehouse is a complete loss. It is still unclear how much inventory has been damaged by smoke and water. This is the main fundraising effort for everything that Habitat for Humanity of Danville does it Danville. Every day that we are closed means money going out even though no money is coming in.

Habitat is working do everything possible to be open very soon in some capacity. But in the meantime each dollar is a huge help. Those able to give larger amounts are truly appreciated but please know that small amounts are also vital.
