Restore Enola's WWII Monument: Support Needed
Donation protected
I’m David Tyson, a Vietnam Vet and lifelong resident of Enola, PA, and a 44-year member of American Legion Post 751. Our WWII monument memorializes 619 individuals who served in our armed forces during WWII. Erected in 1949, it has recently begun to crumble.
We at 751 are raising funds for a complete and proper restoration of this monument, a local treasure. The cost of restoration ranges in the $40,000 to $60,000 area. We are also requesting donations from other veterans' organizations and local businesses. Grants are also being pursued. Any donation will be gratefully accepted.
