Restore Doug Lapp's Home and Life Post-Flood

Hello, my name is Austin Landry, and my father, Doug Lapp, recently experienced 4 feet of flooding in his home due to tropical storm Debbie. My father is a great man, and if anyone can get through this, it's him and our family. Around 4 am on August 5th, I received a call from my dad saying, "hey kid, I'm going to have water in my house here soon." About 10 minutes later, he had 2 inches of water in his house. He was only able to grab my two twin 7-month-old nephews and his dog before leaving his house. While getting ready to leave, the water level rose a foot and a half, and I am truly grateful that the four of them could get out, but unfortunately he had to leave years of hard work, memorabilia, and sentimental belongings behind. Donations will be used to replace appliances, furniture, drywall, vanities, a vehicle, electrical, plumbing, etc. Fortunately, he has temporary housing with family at the moment, but after this devastation, most things must be replaced for my father to try to live a "normal" life once again. I am trying to achieve this because my father could not afford flood insurance in his area, and everything will be out of pocket. Any donation to get his home he provides for my baby nephews back to living conditions would be so appreciated. Thank you, and God bless.
