The Miners Memorial Garden in Cwm should be a lovely, quiet place that shows respect to the people who came before us. Instead, it’s been left to fade and it honestly hurts to see it looking like that. I’m just one guy trying to make a difference, so I’ve started cleaning it up and sharing the first steps online to show what needs doing.

There’s no big team behind me and no budget. It’s literally just me seeing where this goes and hoping a few people might want to get involved or support it in some way. The garden needs things I can’t do on my own, like new benches, better lighting, proper planters and materials to bring it back to life. That’s why I’ve set up this GoFundMe.

I’m not expecting miracles. I just want to give the garden the care it deserves and make it a place the whole village can actually feel proud of again. If you can donate, brilliant. If you can’t, even sharing this helps more than you realise.
