Dear friends & family,

Our dear friend, Boris, was on a train in The Netherlands earlier this week when his backpack got stolen.

The train was very crowded, so Boris used the overhead compartment to place his backpack.

The thieves waited until the train doors opened to take the bag and leave Boris behind.

Inside the backpack, Boris had the following:

Boris was using the “Find My Device” feature to track the backpack.

The items left the Netherlands and crossed into Germany. We believe the thieves realized the backpack was being tracked, so they left the iPad behind and took the other items.

Boris had a great majority of his work saved onto the hard drive. He had personal information, family photos and videos, and all of his educational resources. We know we can’t replace any of that, but we are getting together to help in any way we can.
