The Wildcat Leadership Council at Bath County High School is leading a student-driven effort to restore Bath County’s only tennis courts, which have become unsafe and unusable for everyone. Right now, students and community members have no playable courts in Bath County and must travel to neighboring counties just to participate in tennis or pickleball. The current courts are cracked and damaged, making them unsafe for practices, recreation, and community events.
Our students are passionate about bringing this space back to life—not just for athletics, but for community connection, wellness, and school pride. With your support, we hope to repair and resurface the courts, add new lines for both tennis and pickleball, and install new nets and poles. Our goal is to complete the project within six months so that students and the community can enjoy the courts in the Spring.
The students want to share the great need for a place to play and gather in our small town. Every donation helps create a safe place for students, families, and community members to come together and enjoy activities right here at home in Bath County. Please consider supporting or sharing our fundraiser to help bring this project to life.
