Restore Austin Bagley's Tools and Future

Hello,

My name is Riley Lovell (Smith) and I am the daughter of Mike Smith, who ran the business, Smith & Doster of Delton. Our almost 103-year-old dealership burnt to the ground on November 4th, 2024, and as much of a devastation as it is to our family and the community, we would love to give back to an employee of ours, Austin Bagley.

Austin is a 2023 Delton Kellogg honors graduate who came to work for our family business as soon as he turned 18 to work under my father’s wing and earn his certificate to be a mechanic. We cannot thank Austin enough for his work and dedication, but unfortunately, in the fire, his brand new tools he had just recently purchased were ruined. As many know, this is a big bill to replace. We would love to bring the community together to help give this back to Austin as well as a new toolbox. This will help Austin get back on his feet to be able to move on and continue his education and learning as an amazing mechanic that we are sure he will turn out to be. Thank you!
