This GoFundMe has been set up in the hope of raising funds to enable restoration to the Stevens Family plot at Lutwyche cemetery.

Newly married William & Ann (nee Bowell) Stevens arrived in Brisbane from England on the ‘Montmorency’ on 16 Oct 1860. 13 children were born to them while living in the Brisbane and Samford areas, with 9 surviving to adulthood. William & Ann, plus several family members, including John William & Elizabeth Stevens, are buried here. In their memory, we, as descendants, ask for donations of any amount to restore the grave site to its original state.

Our first goal is to get the headstone re-instated. our current goal of $3000 will help us achieve that.
