Restoration of the Library Picnic Area

My name is Jack Zwick and I have been involved in Scouting since first grade. As a Boy Scout I've been working towards advancing my rank and exploring the different opportunities of Scouting. My biggest accomplishment is getting something called the Triple Crown: backpacking for 80 miles in 10 days on the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, surviving on an island for 10 days in the Florida Keys through Seabase, and canoeing over 75 miles in Northern Tier on the US/Canada border.

I am now working towards achieving my Eagle Scout Rank and to do so I will need to finish an Eagle Scout Project. For my Eagle Project I'll be helping the Bexley Public Library by renovating and repaving a patio on the west side of the Bexley Library where there is currently an older picnic table that is used by the library and the Congregation Torat Emet Synagogue. The current table is on very uneven soil creating a safety hazard. I will also be installing two new picnic benches on top of the patio. The library was my choice because they have been very helpful towards my troop by allowing us to host Eagle Scout Court of Honors. Please help me with being able to give back to the library for their kindness towards my troop.
