My son was brutally murdered at 18 years old in 2014 by his peers. This tragedy shook my family and the community to its core. In the aftermath, I started the TROY CAUSEY JR FOUNDATION FOR CHANGE to give back to the community in his name and keep his legacy alive. With the help of volunteers, I was able to hold successful food and clothing drives, advocate for youths and families affected by senseless acts of crime, and educate the community. For several years, we made a real difference, but I had to cease operations because I funded all endeavors out of pocket, which became too difficult to sustain financially.

Now, I am asking for your support to restart the foundation and continue giving back to communities in need. Immediate assistance will go towards regaining our 501c3 exemption designation, hosting educational seminars on Borrower Rights for current and future homebuyers, providing financial literacy programs, and restarting a youth sports program. These are the first steps to relaunching the foundation and making a difference in the community again.

I feel there is no better way to support my son's legacy than to do good things in his name. This has been hard on me and my children, and I want them to always know what an amazing brother they had. Your support means the world to us and will help us continue this important work.
