At this point, my sister has filed for the benefits she and the children are entitled to from the Federal government, the equivalent of Social Security pension here. Unfortunately, the government agency has said it will take 6 months to process her claim. For this reason we raised our goal from 8,000 to 12,000. Your donations has been a lifeline for them, helping cover all the expenses from groceries to utilities to to medical to every other needs they have. Our gratitude is eternal. Your generosity has also become emotional support, because they feel loved.

My sister Patricia lost her husband to a tragic car accident on March 17, 2021. Left behind are my sister and their 3 children. Isaias who is 13, Isaac 8, and Maria Rita is 2. These funds will help them cover bills and health insurance as Brasil (where they live) faces the worst yet of the Covid19 pandemic, and help with their education.
Irailton was a wonderful father, husband, son, brother and friend. Our entire family loved him so much.
In the words of my sister Patricia: "In the midst of the pain and despair, my children, my faith, and the loving support from family and friends, is what gives the strength to keep standing and facing each day."
