We are raising money to benefit Patriot Flight Inc., and any donation will help make an impact.
Capital District Patriot Flight, Inc., (https://patriotflight.org/ ) is the official New York State representative of the National Honor Flight Network for the Capital Region of NYS serving the counties of Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Saratoga, Greene, Washington, and Columbia as well as parts of Vermont and Massachusetts. Our mission is to enable all US Veterans of the WWII, Korean and Vietnam wars to visit their memorials in Washington, DC that are dedicated to and in their honor.
Our visit to Washington, DC includes: the WWII Memorial, the Korean War Veteran’s Memorial, the Vietnam Wall, U.S. Air Force Memorial, the U.S. Marine War Memorial (statue of the flag raising at Iwo Jima on Mount Suribachi), Arlington National Cemetery and the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
As a nonprofit organization, our volunteer staff works tirelessly throughout the year on fund-raising activities. Our funds come from individuals, corporations and other organizations who wish to contribute to our Veteran support efforts.
