A First Nation Grassroots Collective: Sisters in Solidarity Toronto requests support from you, good allies, supporters, accomplices, and other or like-minded officials for their peaceful assembly and ceremonial camp at Inukshuk Park and Ontario Place.

They have been gathered for 4 months and will continue to gather 24/7 indefinitely until these bills are rescinded. We are resisting Bill 5 & C-5 and other acts undermining treaties with the Imperial Crown, Anishinaabe law, and the clan system.

They emphasize the importance of reconciliation, Indigenous rights, and respect for their laws and governance systems.

They highlight the threats to their ancestral lands, waters, and rights to hunt, fish, and gather.

They call attention to issues such as Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW), human trafficking, himan sex trafficking and displacement of First Nation treaty holders and their children.

They request amplification of their voices against ecological disasters and systemic injustices.

within the City of Toronto,

We, The Grandmothers, Matriarchs, Land Defenders, Water Protectors , Aunties and Children, our people who Are gathered between Inukshuk Park and Ontario Place 24/7 now for 4 months and in which is a Matriarch and OgitichawKweg Led Camp in which is Alcohol, Drug and Violence Free, We humbly request your support. As First Nation, Métis, and Inuit genocide survivors, we stand united in peaceful assembly and ceremony, resisting Bill 5 & C-5 and all other acts that undermine our treaties with the Imperial Crown, disregard Anishinaabe law, and disrespect the clan system that guides our relationships.

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action emphasizes the need for reconciliation, recognition of Indigenous rights, and respect for our laws and governance systems. We urge you to uphold these principles in your decision-making, acknowledging the historical injustices inflicted upon our peoples and working towards a more equitable future for ALL Treaty people and Relations to Corperate Canada.

Our ceremonial camp stands as a beacon of hope, shining light on the injustices we face. We will not be silenced. We rise for ALL children, our future generations, who deserve to grow up on their ancestral lands, free from the threats of pipelines, fracking, and environmental degradation. We rise for the animals, our relatives, who suffer alongside us in this crisis. We rise for the land, our mother, who provides for us and demands our respect.

Every creek, river, and lake is sacred to us, and we assert our inherent rights to protect and steward these waters in accordance with our laws and treaties. We reject any attempt to remove or desecrate these waters, which are essential to our way of life, our culture, and our identity.

The Robinson-Huron Treaty and other treaties guarantee our rights to hunt, fish, and gather on our traditional territories. We will not allow these rights to be infringed upon or diminished. Our sovereignty and inherent rights are not negotiable. Our treaty rights are sacred agreements that must be honored.

Bill 5 - Bill C-5 and similar legislation impose colonial frameworks that disregard our rights and title to our lands and waters. We reject any attempt to undermine our treaties with the Imperial Crown, which were made in good faith and must be respected. We call attention to the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW), the human trafficking facilitated by man camps, and the displacement of First Nation treaty holders and the children.

We request that you support our peaceful assembly and ceremonial camp, amplifying our voices against ecological disasters and systemic injustices, So Let's work together to protect our Nish sisters and brothers, our lands, our waters, and our sovereignty, guided by Anishinaabe law, the clan system, and the principles of reconciliation.

As we say, 'Anjitoon Ispahyaasot' (Change is Rising), we mean, Change for the People, for the CHILDREN , for the Animals, for the Land, for the Air, for the Environment and for the Waters. We ask that you pray and show support for the safety and well-being of the Original Land Stewards the Land Custodians that our voices be heard and that we be safe and healthy throughout the winter season and our struggles be acknowledged.
