Driving medical & Vet supplies & food into Ukraine

My name is Andreas Evangelou, and I am a 63-year-old British-born Greek Cypriot. I have been to Ukraine four times since the beginning of the war this year, in March, May,July and September, I work closely with Serhii Porokhnavets, the Pastor at a summer camp called Berizka in Ozero, north of Lutsk.

On September 14th, I delivered and donated 60 kilos of Tuna canned, 12 kilos of Nutella, and 25 Kilos of Swiss Chocolate to Camp Berizka and some much-needed pampers and feminine hygiene products.

Since the war's first days, the camp has accommodated over 150 refugees from Ukraine's Kharkiv and Donbas regions.

There has been a recent refurbishment to prepare the camp for the upcoming sub-zero conditions thanks to large amounts of volunteer help from the good people of Sweden and some from the UK as well as others, but there is still work to do, and help is still urgently needed

On September 16th / 17th, and 18th, my trip to Kyiv took me to Dr. Vitalii, deputy director of Kyiv Heart hospital, to deliver and donate over £40,000 of medical supplies to the doctors and nurses that were overwhelmed by the quantity filled in my car, roof box and horse box trailer. I also delivered and donated medicines to Dr. Andrii at the Military Rehabilitation home in Kyiv and some books, toys and children's medication to Dr. Oleg at the Kyiv Orphanage.

I donated and delivered 30 kilos of dry dog food and three boxes of veterinary supplies to the Endurance Horse Sport Club 50 km south of Kyiv

I delivered and donated much-needed supplies to family homes of displaced Ukrainian families.

Finally, I delivered and donated 80 windproof combat jackets plus boots and backpacks to the Lutsk Brigade

My fourth mission is complete, and I am planning the fifth mission with the help of a team of volunteers sharing the same cause.
