My name is Haley. I'm a single mom of 3 beautiful children. I'm not one to ask for help, but given the outstanding situation I'm currently dealing with, I've sucked up my pride for this.

On June 22nd, 2025 through June 26th, I received over 60 calls and messages from my children's father who lives in Colorado. He broke his sobriety and had been drinking excessively, fighting with his current spouse in front of my 3 children and their step-siblings.

On June 23rd, my ex called me and informed me that cops had been called due to threats of him being put in jail and my children being placed into foster care by his current spouse. On June 25th, my daughter's birthday, I received a call from my youngest son informing me that his father hit him and had left bruises on the evening of June 24th. His father's reasoning for it was because of his "attitude and behavior." Still heavily intoxicated, I proceeded to tell my ex that whether he was "acting out" or not, hitting our son was unacceptable. I immediately hung up the phone and called Pueblo, Colorado police and DCFS to do a welfare check on my children. Not a single person showed up to the home to do a welfare check or assess the situation.

DCFS has opened an investigation against my children's father and is finally taking the matter seriously. I have reached out to the courts here where I am located and have filed a protective order petition against my ex in fear of what further abuse my children are being subjected to from their dad and stepmother.

Due to health issues and only working part-time, the money I make isn't enough to help cover travel expenses. Given the severity of the situation, I cannot afford to wait any longer to drive and save my children from the nightmare they are currently in. If anyone can help, it would truly be deeply appreciated and not ever forgotten. Please help me safely bring my children home where they are safe and protected.
