Official GoFundMe for The Wheelchair Dad & Family

Most of you are probably here because you know and love Dan & our family from our @TheWheelchairDad social media platforms. We have over 2 million incredible people following our ups and downs through life, and several of you have recently requested us to set up a GoFundMe as you have a desire to just help & give to our family in some way.

We are a family of 8. Yours, Mine & Ours. We met and were married after the construction fall that paralyzed Dan. We’ve been married 10 years now!

We have always been blessed with what we need, but sometimes the medical bills and other things just add up and get a little overwhelming. Any money collected here will be used to support our family in all of our endeavors & specifically making sure that Dan’s health is the best it can be.

Many of you know that when you are living with Social Security Disability benefits, there is a max allowable income before you get your benefits taken. We have recently been informed of an ABLE account that can be set up and have up to $19000 a year deposited that you can use for expenses (mostly medical) of the disabled person & not count as income as far as getting SSDI benefits taken. We are in the process of setting that up and will be able to put any money donated here into that account. Thank you all again for everything!
