Hi everyone,

We’re raising money for three incredibly brave local kids — Peyton, Mario and Leo — who are all currently battling cancer.

These families are all closely connected to our Repetitions Fitness community. Peyton is the niece of our trainer Deb. Leo is the nephew and grandson of our long-time members Alannah, Daniel and Paul. Mario is the son of two of our members, Djeffri and Stef.

As a community, we want to come together and help give these families a chance to step away from hospital visits, treatments, stress and uncertainty for a little while. Our goal is to raise enough money to send all three families away on a small holiday together and create some special memories during an incredibly difficult time.

To help raise funds, we’ll also be hosting our “Neon for a Cause” charity night at Repetitions Fitness — a fun community event with music, lights, workouts and plenty of energy, all coming together for an important cause.

Tickets to the event will be $25, with all ticket purchases made as donations directly through this GoFundMe page.

Leo

One day before his third birthday, Leo was diagnosed with leukaemia. What should have been a time of celebration became the beginning of hospital visits, treatments and uncertainty. Despite everything he has faced, Leo continues to smile, play and show incredible strength every single day. His courage has inspired everyone around him.

Mario

Shortly after his fourth birthday, Mario was diagnosed with Stage 4 Burkitt Lymphoma after months of hospital visits, emergency surgery and ongoing health concerns. He has already undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy and continues to fight with unbelievable bravery. One of the hardest parts for the family has been being away from loved ones, with Mario separated from his little brother Theo during treatment.

Peyton

In July 2024, Peyton was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour after losing part of her eyesight. Since then, she has been undergoing chemotherapy through Westmead Children’s Hospital. Although the road ahead is still long, Peyton continues to fight like an absolute warrior every single day.

Every dollar raised from ticket sales and additional donations will go towards helping these three families create some special memories together away from hospitals and treatment rooms.
