Our village dates back to well before the Norman Conquest. Its 12th Century church is a vital part of our religious lives and, indeed, an important part of our national heritage. It has witnessed more history than we can imagine. We have a very active congregation and involve ourselves in all aspects of life in our parish.

The covid-19 virus regulations mean that, along with all other churches, services in St Mary’s have been suspended and our usual income from Sunday collections has stopped … but our work in the community continues! This appeal replaces our Sunday collections.

Our Church Council is sponsoring this appeal. It and the whole parish of Buriton (not to mention the future generations, who will find great joy and comfort in this wonderful church) thank you most sincerely for your donation.
