Replace Our Bird Hide

On Wednesday the 5th of March 2025, Tarbert Bird Hide was unfortunately burned to the ground. The Bird Hide was erected by Tarbert Development Association in 2004, and was a fantastic amenity for locals and visitors alike, giving people the opportunity to view the incredible variety of birds on the Shannon Estuary. We have already had an incredibly generous offer from a local supplier to replace the shed, which we've been blown away by, but there will be other costs such as grounds works, furniture, finishes, etc, so any financial help would be greatly appreciated to make this happen.
