Update: I am continuing to raise funds to replace mailboxes in times of disaster and crises to people impacted by catastrophic events. On Sunday, February 23, 2025, I delivered mailboxes to the Grundy Fire Department for distribution to those impacted by the recent flooding. Other areas of Virginia and Kentucky were also heavily impacted by flood waters. Help me help people in these communities by making a donation.

My name is Christine Ritch and I work in Boone, NC. Many people affected by the floods also had their mailboxes swept away by the rushing torrents of water or crushed by falling trees. I am raising funds to purchase mailboxes and mailbox posts for victims of Hurricane Helene in Boone, NC and surrounding communities. Without a mailbox, families can't receive medicine, medical supplies, care packages, flood relief information, and everyday mail and packages. A mailbox is a permanent symbol of home and can last for decades.
