We are hoping to raise some funds to help towards replacing some items that were unfortunately destroyed in a fire at the site in the hot weather in august. The fire was started by vandals we think behind the sheds that stored a lot of machinery and fertilisers used for maintaining the allotment site . There was also bee keeping equipment used for the production of honey for the bee hives on the allotment apiary . Therefore , we are hoping to replace the sheds and hopefully buy some new equipment , mowers, strimmers etc that are used to maintain the communal areas around the site. So much hard work and commitment by many members of the society have been lost so please help us raise some funds so this can continue and benefit lots of local people who like to spend time outdoors growing their own produce that also gets donated to local food banks and the community!
