Replace flags, flag poles and flags for veterans headstones

As we know Prairie City was impacted with high winds the morning of Friday 5/24 that affected many citizens of our community. The flags and flag poles to honor veterans at Waveland Cemetery were not immune from the damage. As you may have noticed, there was half of the flags lining the entrances to cemetery as normally and many veterans’ headstones were missing the small flags honoring them. Multiple flag poles were bent and flags damaged and need to be replace. Any monetary donation to assist with replacing the flags, flags for veterans’ headstones and flag poles would be greatly appreciated to continue honoring our veterans on Memorial Day.
