On Thursday, July 7th, My father in law Craig Smedley was Volunteering as a chaplain at Loma Linda Hospital in Murrieta, Ca, as he does weekly. He recently purchased an electric bike for his commute to his shifts which he was extremely excited about and spent months saving for it. (He refers to it as his "Poor man's Tesla") Unfortunately, during his shift, 2 male suspects were caught on camera cutting his bike lock and stealing his new favorite ride. Sadly, The hospital nor the police involved would allow him even to take pictures of the footage to share on social media to spread the word and hopefully recover the bike. So we decided to take matters into our own hands and hopefully raise enough funds to surprise him with a new bike for his birthday on August 5th! Craig is such a positive, loving, caring man who has volunteered in his community and local churches since he moved to Murrieta 33 years ago. This breaks our families hearts to see this happen to him. If you would like to donate, please leave a little note and your name when you do so. We'd love for him to see all the wonderful people who helped make this happen!
